It is rare for any musician to have an equal command over performance and the theoretical foundations of the art. Pt. Arvind Parikh has authored two books, and various academic papers, which constitute a valuable contribution to Hindustani music. The third book authored by his students and family, entitled ‘The Legacy of the Singing Sitar’ was brought out on Arvindbhai’s 94th birthday on 19th October, 2021. This book showcases Arvindbhai’s life journey and musical work and contribution. It is also featured as an E-Book on this website.
