May I ask A question? How to decipher during taans - 1: Marwa - Puria - Sohini 2: Lalit - Shuddh Basant 3: Darbari - Adana etc ragas with identical note patterns? Thanking you in anticipation

– Note patterns of the mentioned raags are not identical.
– Arohi/ Avrohi are distinct
– Though notes of mentioned raags are same, one version of Adana does
not have Komal Dhaivat.
– Vadi/ Samvadi or melodic centres of the mentioned raags are distinct and
different.
– It is accepted that Adana was created to fecilitate execution of taans, as
in Darbari aandolit Gandhar and Dhaivat created execution problems.
– Shuddha Basant has several versions (different Gharanas)
– Melodic movements of the mentioned raag s, are required to be
performed in Uttrang/ Purvang per rules
As is known taans are catagarised in different prakars. Hence suitable taanprakars are performed
