To me Suddha Basant seems like Lalit with Suddha dhaivat. Rag revolves
around Suddha Madhyam. In Uttarang movents dh ni sa ni dh ni gives a tinge
of Kaushik Dhwani. Some musicians play with Pancham which gives a shade
of Bhatiar. Not difficult to play but doesn’t seem to be very commonly played.
