No. However some do use a touch of komal ni just as we touch komal ga in tar
saptak in Desh. Your concept of avrohi in Tilak kamod is correct ( with some
variations). To add- I have however heard some old gats in Tilak kamod using
komal ni as a regular note- this variety is very rarely heard these days.
